Maria Gray, mother of Wilfred (1986), Catherine (1985) Maria Gray When Maria flew out to Sioux Lookout to give birth it was the middle of spring time and she was only in Sioux Lookout for a few days. She spends a lot of time working at the school as a teacher. When she wasn't teaching she did do a little hunting, she would also do family activities with her kids. Her husband is also involved in family life, he does some trapping and hunting as well. After looking at all of the pictures she remarked "It all seems so recent when I look at these pictures but now they're all teenagers," her daughter now hunts on her own and has grown up in the years between the pictures and now. Maria is proud that she has managed to work and look after her kids well. She stresses one thing to many of the people who look to her for guidance, getting a good education is very important. She wants her own kids to get a good education.
