Trapping Intensity

As you can see, the majority of trapping takes place over a much larger area then a more southern community would. However, they also trap in considerably less concentrated area. The rotational cycle for the trap line is quite long so that the low carrying land has time to recover. This means that they don't over trap one area and assures that they can continue to hunt indefinitely.

Most of the animals trapped along the coast were either seal or white and silver foxes. They were trapped for their pelts which then traded for necessities that the community could use.
